Dr. Victor Nwanguma is a public health researcher, inventor, author, and advocate for the prevention of poverty worldwide. He gained Editor’s Choice Award for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry presented by poetry.com and the International Library of Poetry in December 2004. He is a member of International Society of Poets and has attained the distinction level of Founding Laureate Member.
The first poem he wrote, “The Mysteries of Life” ranked 1st among other international poems published in “Invoking The Muse” by the International Library of Poetry, in 2004. He is the Author of ”Universal Poems” and “What I Visualize As Heaven On Earth.” The titles of the books he will publish soon are “How Governments And Other Stakeholders Can Prevent The Spread Of HIV Disease In Their Communities.” and “The Current Issue That Concerns People Who Live In The Western Region Of The United States.”
He used this book titled "How I Discovered That Chapel Hill And Carrboro Are Among The Healthiest Cities In The United States" to encourage policymakers and others stakeholders in every country to focus on meeting the needs of their residents and subsequently improve their lives.
